S.O.S. Wauwatosa in Action

How To Communicate With Your School Board

School Board members live in our community – they provide leadership and make decisions about our schools. They work with the Superintendent and other school district staff to set budgets, create and review policies, approve school calendars, approve curriculum, consider personnel recommendations, etc. Board members are elected to three year terms and receive no financial compensation for their service.

How To Communicate With Your State Legislator

Our state government passes laws and makes financial decisions that affect all of our lives. Funding for public schools, highway projects, jobs & the economy, and environmental issues, are just a few examples of things that are impacted by decisions made by our Governor and Legislature.
